Joondalup Netball Association are seeking expressions of interest for the position of Umpire Convenor. The Umpire Convenor must hold the minimum of a C Badge with 2 years’ experience.
Please note, this position is eligible for an honorarium.
This position entails the overseeing of umpires and matches during our Winter and Spring Competitions. The Umpire Convenor assists both the JNA Umpire Development Officer (AUDO), and the Senior Convenor on game days with the following:
- Ensuring all Courts have umpires prior to commencement of games.
- Observing matches on various courts, monitoring umpires and providing coaching if required.
- TID umpires for progress in consultation with the JNA AUDO.
- Checking scoresheets as required, and working with JNA Convenors.
